Andrea serves among the Lopit people of South Sudan, focusing on sharing Christ with, discipling and mobilizing South Sudanese believers for ministry locally and cross culturally. Andrea grew up in Central Africa where God gave her a love for rural Africa and its people. After attending Moody Bible Institute in Spokane Washington she went to Uganda to complete an internship with an organization sharing Christ through malnutrition programs. God used a trip to help her parents working in South Sudan to show her the need for more missionaries in rural South Sudan.
After doors closing with her work in Uganda, she moved back to the States, joined AIM and served at the AIM Retirement Community for retired missionaries in Florida while she prepared for ministry in South Sudan. It is her prayer "that Christ may dwell in Lopit hearts through faith – that they, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:17-19
Thank you for joining Andrea in ministering to the Lopit!
