Home Assignment (or furlough) is a time for us to visit our passport country and our sending/supporting churches and individuals to reconnect, report on our ministry, and regroup before returning to cross-cultural service in South Africa. While international travel with a family is not always easy, and plane tickets just seem to always be going up, we see so much value in returning to the USA at regular intervals. We do set aside a small percentage of our overall support each month to account for these travel expenses, but it’s usually just not quite enough to get our entire family of five from South Africa to the USA.Donations to this project will help cover the difference. These financial gifts will help relieve some of the travel burden for us.
