Lependera Church Project

Through the Africa Inland Mission's Eastern Region Hub initiative, we have been mobilising, training and deploying local missionaries; andplanted a church in Lependera-near Ngurunit in October 2024.

The church has been growing and through one of our supporters, Water for Children Africa, we have raised funds for a church building that will serve several purposes in the community: It will be a place for worship and community peace gatherings, we will conduct Christian youth camps, baptisms, weddings and other Christian programs, it will be a place to conduct community-permitted free medical clinics, a building to utilize for literacy and continuing education, harvest rain water, and serve as a study hall with solar light for school age children to use.

We will also be conducting a hydro survey to drill a borehole to provide water for the pastoralist community. This will help keep the community in one place and it will help disciple new believers.

Construction is slated to begin in September 2025.
