Living in a remote village in northern Kenya means living without electricity unless you get a little help from the sun or the wind. Missionaries to this region have been able to use solar power to have a bit of light at night, keep computers and phones charged, and to even keep food cool in a solar fridge. Solar power is additionally helpful to Steve as he offers his automotive maintenance skills to reach out to the community. Solar power can keep his tools charged and ready. Equipping the Hardings with a basic solar system as they move up to Dukana in norther Kenya includes: panels, a charger, wires, and batteries.
