Joel and LaReina King

After serving with AIM AIR (AIM’s aviation division) for 8 years in Kenya and Uganda, Joel, LaReina, and their children returned to the US in 2021. Renee is completing her graduate English Education degree and Ian is completing his Aviation degree (with pilot/mechanic licenses). Joel and LaReina continue to serve Stateside with AIM.

LaReina serves full-time as the Associate Coordinator for the US Short-Term Department. She works remotely from their home in Virginia. Joel also serves remotely as a board member for Africa Based Support Services, which encompasses the services of AIM AIR (the aviation division of AIM), AIM Finance, Tumaini (counseling services in Kenya and Uganda), and several other AIM services.
