Bethany Tennent

I've been working with Africa Inland Mission since the fall of 2010 on a church-planting team among the unreached Alagwa people of north-central Tanzania. The Alagwa are a people group of 45,000 who are entirely folk Islamic and have very little access to the knowledge of Jesus. My team and I have been living among them since 2010 to give them that access in their language through deep relationships, small group discipleship, Bible storying, and Bible translation. We have seen a significant shift over the years as the Alagwa grow in hunger for the Word in their language, and it has an increasingly wide impact and effect on the entire community, as well as in the lives of those who are growing closer and closer to Jesus. We are so thankful for your partnership in prayer and intercession for the spiritual battle of this work, your partnership in my support, and the support of the ongoing Bible translation work and the distribution of Scripture resources in the community. You are a powerful part of Jesus’ kingdom breaking in among the Alagwa!
