Holtz, John and Clarissa - Guesthouse Project

Missionaries working to bring the gospel to the most remote places experience droughts, wars, spiritual darkness, extreme heat, conflict with local authorities, loneliness, and dozens of other daily challenges. Exhaustion and burn out are real risks.

When they take time away from their village life they are in need of rest and restoration--a time and a place to be refreshed by God without distraction. We have worked to make Samwise Cottage a place where missionaries can take off their missionary hat, put up their feet and find rest. We are committed to making it affordable so that missionaries don’t have the added stress about whether or not they can afford it.
