Stough, Bill and Laurie - Relocation Project

Bill and Laurie are making a move to base back in Uganda for the next several years. Being closer to the relationships on the ground will have many advantages. They plan to depart the US the end of November 2023. Relocation Expenses. This is kind of a global idea of what’s involved financially. These numbers are pretty firm:Flights - Tickets $1,010 each / TransportEntry Visa - $50 eachWork Permits - $250 each, per year Household setup: We’re looking to go as simply as possible. We have a few household things stored, but don’t know the condition as it’s been a while. In terms of what we don’t yet have, these numbers are our best estimate with input from the AIM office in Uganda.Kitchen - fridge, stove, … $1,150Furniture - living/ dining/ office/ bedroom $950Bed/ Mattress - $450Laundry equipment - $540Telephone and Internet setup - $230 Vehicle - please see the separate projectBill will need something sturdy and dependable for getting around the rural areas. While he’s away, Laurie will need to still be able to do around town. Options could include getting something small. We’ll be thinking and praying on this need.
