It has been our dream for a long time to work in ministry together. Now as we move closer to the retirement chapter of our lives, an opportunity to serve as dorm parents for missionary boarding students in Kijabe, Kenya is before us.
In 2010 on a Sunday Morning, a missionary couple showed a film highlighting Rift Valley Academy (RVA), a missionary boarding school in Kenya. We were enthralled by this place that provided excellence in care and education for missionary youth.
Missionaries all over the continent of Africa are empowered to complete the tasks God has called them to while their children have a place like RVA to both excel and thrive. Unreached people groups are being touched with the gospel, and Bibles are being translated into new languages, because missionary parents are able to work in the field knowing that quality education is available for their children. We are excited to join with Rift Valley Academy. In the capacity as dorm parents, we will have the opportunity to impact the spread of the gospel in Africa while serving our Lord, missionary parents and their students, and Rift Valley Academy.Africa Inland Mission (AIM) is 501(c)(3) public charity eligible to receive tax deductible contributions.
