Bob and Jennifer Chedester

We love East Africa and been blessed to serve here for many years!

We initially served in Uganda in a remote area, and now support others who serve in remote areas so the gospel continues to move forward. We love RVA (Rift Valley Academy) and are grateful to know how important this type of ministry is since we served in such an area previously.

Bob is involved with Staff Services & Student Immigration keeping work permits, student visas and other documents legal for all the staff and students. Jennifer serves in Physical Therapy at RVA and at the Kijabe Hospital below the school along with doing some teaching and coaching at the school. We both enjoy hanging out with students.

We have been blessed with 5 children who have attended RVA - 3 graduates (Sarah, Elizabeth & Jon). We are in the US for the 2018-19 school year getting Jon settled in college after being in Kenya for 4 years. In August 2019 we will return to RVA in Kenya with 2 children: Rebecca will be a senior and Samuel will be in 9th grade.  Pray for wisdom as we seek God’s direction when Rebecca graduates.

Mobilizing Offices

AIM is a global organization comprised of both sending and receiving entities. Each sending country is home to a Mobilizing Office, and this is the first place of contact for engaging with AIM. Find the Mobilizing Office nearest you to learn more about opportunities to serve or partner with AIM.

Receiving Regions

AIM works in more than 20 African countries, including some islands of the Indian Ocean, and in other countries around the globe where ethnic Africans have settled. Our work is divided into five regions: Eastern, Central, Southern, Northern, and Diaspora Ministries.
