I came to Kenya in 1989 to teach at Ukamba Bible College. After 12 enjoyable years of training new pastors, especially encouraging them to pay attention to the children in their congregations, I moved into the role of Children's Ministry Facilitator which took me to most of the countries in Africa where AIM works. I met wonderful people, missionaries and nationals, working so hard to help and teach African children. I also taught in a school in the Kibera area of Nairobi.Now I am working in the Eastern Region Office as the administrator. Serving the missionaries in Eastern Region, working with our excellent Kenyan staff members and strategizing where and how AIM can reach more people with the Gospel fills my days. On Sundays I welcome a soccer team of boys from Kibera to my home for lunch and Bible Club.
