Bruce and Kate are medical missionaries (doctor and nurse) with AIM since 1992. In Africa, we have served at Kijabe Hospital and Kijabe School of Nursing (1992-95, 2000-2006), the Institute of Family Medicine in Nairobi and Daystar University (2008-2010), and most recently at Kabarak University (2015-2017).
We have also been leaders of AIM's Medi-Quest teams (2011, 2012, and 2014). On home assignments and extended years at home we have served as AIM U.S. Health Advisors, representatives at health conferences, and development coordinators for the Digital African Health Library and Family Medicine Residency Training sites in Kenya and other countries across Africa.
These are just a few of the many projects we've been involved with. We do these things because a long time ago, each of us gave our hearts away to Jesus, the Christ of the Bible.
We now belong to Him."For we have died, and our life is now hidden with Christ in God" Colossians. 3:3. We are committed to doing what we believe He has called us to do: with His help, by His grace, and through the power of the Anointed and Risen Christ.
