Retiree - Loren and Donnas Fast

Donna graduated from John Brown University in Arkansas in 1974 with a BA in Business Education. After graduation she began working in administration in Mental Health field. In 1977 she attend a graduate level Biblical Studies course with Multnomah School of the Bible.

She and Loren left for Kenya in 1980, where she worked as Personal Assistant to the Medical Director of AIC Kijabe Medical Centre until 1984. From 1984-1992, she managed housing for expatriate staff, and we had two daughters born during that time frame. In 1992 they moved to Nairobi and Donna once again took up managing housing for Africa Based Support (formerly International Services) and organizing seminars and workshops.

In 2006 she took on the responsibility of Africa Based Orientation Program Director through to the present time, training over 500 new missionaries in 11 years in cross cultural skills and ministry perspectives. Loren Graduated from John Brown University in Arkansas in 1974 with a BA in Business Management. He worked for JCPenney Company in small store management until 1977.

In 1977 he attended a graduate level Biblical Studies course with Multnomah School of the Bible. In 1980 he left for Kenya with Donna to take on the role of Business Manager of A.I.C. Kijabe Hospital through 1992. He then moved to Nairobi to Direct the work of AIM's Africa Based Support (formerly International Services) from 1992-2006.

From 2006-2017 Loren has been the Crisis Consultant for AIM while assisting Donna in the Africa Based Orientation Program. Since July 2017 Loren has assumed the role of Regional Executive Officer for AIM's southern region. Loren and Donna Fast most recently have been energized by the prospect of leading Southern Region in engaging with the growing African missions movement, and helping AIM partner with and learn from them.
