Michelle Gennaro

Chris and Michelle Gennaro were appointed as missionaries with Africa Inland Mission in 2007 and left in July 2011 with their six children (Julia, Olivia, Jedidiah, Sicilia, Joseph, and Duane) to serve in the tiny, rural village of Molumong, Lesotho. After a year of culture and language acquisition, Chris taught sewing and knitting to local people at the Molumong Vocational Skills Training Center where he passed on his brilliant skill to them and showed them that God IS a provider AND Savior for them.

Michelle learned language and culture while homeschooling the four younger children. In February 2013, after the sudden onset of Encephalitis, Chris passed away and received his, "Well done, good and faithful servant" from the Lord.

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for his friends" John 15:13.

Following that, Michelle became the 12th grade English teacher at Rift Valley Academy where she taught for two years until she was asked to serve as the Southwest Mobilizer for AIM. She is now back in San Diego, CA where she met her current husband, Brent, at her home church. They were married in 2019, an answer to Michelle's persistent prayers for help in life and ministry.
