Africa Inland Mission | United States Mobilizing Region

Missionary Giving

Matthew and Eva Hansen

We serve the students who attend Rift Valley Academy in Kijabe, Kenya. We are dorm parents, teachers and mentors to the missionary kids who attend RVA. Kenya has been home to us and our four children since 2013. God willing, we will spend many more years at RVA loving, leading, and living with the MKs here.

RVA is a Christian boarding school and a branch of Africa Inland Mission International.  It exists to provide a quality education in a nurturing environment for the children of missionaries serving in Africa. With over 100 years of rich history, RVA has played an instrumental role in the lives of countless MKs (missionary kids). The current student body of nearly 500 includes more than 30 different nationalities. The families these students represent serve with 80 mission organizations spanning 22 African countries.

Mobilizing Offices

AIM is a global organization comprised of both sending and receiving entities. Each sending country is home to a Mobilizing Office, and this is the first place of contact for engaging with AIM. Find the Mobilizing Office nearest you to learn more about opportunities to serve or partner with AIM.

Receiving Regions

AIM works in more than 20 African countries, including some islands of the Indian Ocean, and in other countries around the globe where ethnic Africans have settled. Our work is divided into five regions: Eastern, Central, Southern, Northern, and Diaspora Ministries.
