Hazel, Jeremy and Claudia

Our journey of following Jesus as our Lord and Savior started in childhood. As children we responded to the simple call of the Lord, “Come, Follow Me.” It was in college that we both begun to understand the sacrifices that God would require of us to follow.During the summer of our college years we explored the call to ministry. Jeremy served as a youth intern at several churches and Claudia served as a counsellor at a Christian camp for intercity kids. In 2000, we both graduated and were married later that year. Together we served on staff in the local church for 7 years. In 2010 and 2011, we both took short term missions trips to Rwanda. We felt God calling us in a new direction to the mission field. God led us to Africa Inland Mission in 2012. He was calling us to live among the unreached people groups of Africa. Jeremy has a heart for youth and discipleship. He loves to engage people where they are in life in practical ways. Claudia has a passion for agriculture. She loves getting her hands dirty to show how God cares about both the physical and spiritual needs of people through Farming God’s Way method.We have served two years among the unreached SAN Bushmen in the Kalahari Desert of Namibia and 1 amongst the Digo on the coast of Kenya. We are currently still living amongst the SAN in Namibia.We are guided by 1 Peter 3:15 “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”We trust God to provide for our needs through the gifts of individuals, businesses and churches.
