Paul was born in Tanzania to AIM missionary parents. He began his AIM ministry in Kenya flying with Aim Air. Virginia first went with AIM to teach at Rethy Academy in Zaire. Paul & Virginia met at AIM's orientation school. After 2 years of serving independently, they married and moved to Tanzania. After 2 more years with Aim Air, they took a break from the service role and led 2 TIMO teams. After finishing the 2nd team, they continued working in Pahi among the Rangi for another term. They then moved to EnGedi to work on the TIMO administration team, Paul as the logistic officer & Virginia as the finance officer. After eight plus years in those roles, they moved to the southern coast of Tanzania to work toward seeing unreached people groups reached with the Gospel. Today they are still passionate about seeing these people groups along the Tanzanian south coast hear of Jesus. They have three children, Joell, Brandon and Shara. Currently all three children are back in the US either in college or working and learning where God would have them serve.
