Our journey with AIM began in 1993. We had the privilege to serve most of 30 years at Rift Valley Academy (RVA) in Kenya. While there, Steve taught instrumental music, music theory and leadership and Amanda served as a nurse and admissions director and together for several years we served as dorm parents. Our desire was to help raise the next generation of world Christians. We loved serving the missionary families serving all over Africa by caring for their children.
In 2023, we have transitioned to roles with AIM here in the US. Steve serves as a mission mobilizer. He will cover mid-west states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Missouri. Amanda will join the Member Care Department of AIM on the Third Culture Kid Care team assisting to provide support and encouragement, especially to the older high school and young adult TCKs. We are still serving to raise the next generation of world Christians.
As we continue to serve with AIM, our prayer and financial team is still as important as ever. AIM does not pay Amanda a salary, so she will continue to rely on donations from churches and individuals.
Thank you for being a part of our team as we mobilize and support missionaries to make Christ known to the unreached among the nations.
