Kevin and Cami Zwart

After serving in Mozambique from 2007 to 2016, Kevin and Cami left behind a successful TEE program and moved to Namibia where Kevin is serving as Unit Leader, working together in leading the field with Cami. In Namibia, we are hoping to receive new personnel to work in Theological Education as well as grassroots discipleship.

We continue to look for new ways to equip the local church to become senders and train Namibians to better serve their churches and reach out to the lost. Member care, interfacing with the government, surveying new areas, connecting with like-minded churches and other agencies are all a part of the work.

In 2019, Cami began work with AfriGO magazine, a joint project of SIM and AIM, which encourages the African Church to send, support and pray for their missionaries. She is Editor-in-Chief, working under a SIM missionary from Nigeria, and is overseeing the quarterly English magazine, and Portuguese and Swahili editions.

She also oversees the social media (daily on Facebook and Instagram) and manages the website by herself. Cami was appointed Unit Leader for Angola and we are hoping for new missionaries to arrive in 2023 to begin the AIM work there, in collaboration with existing work.

Toby, now in college, made a good transition to the USA in August of 2021, and Benjamin Charlie continues to live with mom and dad, attending a local private school.
