James and Shelly Myrick

James and Shelly have served at Rift Valley Academy for 5 years, beginning in 2003. They are excited to be returning to RVA in 2022. There are roughly 500 students from 30 different countries represented in the student body. Most of the students are the children of missionaries serving in Africa. There are ample opportunities to build relationships with the students and staff through daily interactions, sports, teaching, discipleship and shared meals. James is an elementary teacher with 30 years of teaching experience. He loves the opportunities he has had to teach in multiple capacities at RVA. Shelly is an ultrasonographer by profession, but loves kids and working in varying roles with the students at RVA. James and Shelly are looking forward to reconnecting with the community of Rift Valley Academy in their future academic and supporting roles beginning in August of 2022.
