Missionary Giving

Steven and Angela Harding

Our Current Assignment in Nairobi, Kenya & Surrounding Countries

Since 2014, Steve and Angie have been serving Christ as they serve fellow missionaries and reach out to local & immigrant populations in East Africa.   While making Nairobi, Kenya their home-base, Steve works as an automotive mechanic.  Many missionaries come to him directly for repairs and assistance purchasing parts.  When that is not feasible, Steve travels to other areas of East Africa to offer mechanical support, or he ships automotive parts to missionaries outside Nairobi and talks missionaries through the needed repairs over the phone.  Purchasing automotive parts gives Steve the opportunity to share Christ's love with Indian and Pakistani business owners who sell auto-parts in Kenya.  This immigrant segment remains largely unreached by the Gospel.  Angie enjoys building friendships and sharing her faith with African and South-Asian friends she meets along the way, while keeping focused on home-schooling Zeke, Zeb and Zain with a Christian-based curriculum.   She truly enjoys watching her children learn new things, spiritually and scholastically, in the home, as well as sharing the hope of Christ outside the home particularly with people overcoming emotional trauma.

Mobilizing Offices

AIM is a global organization comprised of both sending and receiving entities. Each sending country is home to a Mobilizing Office, and this is the first place of contact for engaging with AIM. Find the Mobilizing Office nearest you to learn more about opportunities to serve or partner with AIM.

Receiving Regions

AIM works in more than 20 African countries, including some islands of the Indian Ocean, and in other countries around the globe where ethnic Africans have settled. Our work is divided into five regions: Eastern, Central, Southern, Northern, and Diaspora Ministries.
