TCK Education Travel

The Third-Culture Kid (TCK) Education Travel fund was established to help parents working in remote locations by assisting them with travel costs for their children to go to school.

Theological Education (TE) Vision Trip

The 2020 Theological Education Vision Trip will provide an opportunity for participants to see and experience TE ministry firsthand in Kenya. There is a great need to equip African church leaders, preachers, and evangelists to serve their churches well and take part in reaching the unreached through Biblical teaching and Christlike discipleship.

If a donation is being made toward a specific participant, please include the participant’s name in the comments.

TIMO General Needs

TIMO stands for Training In Ministry Outreach. Through TIMO, new missionaries are trained in teams while doing African outreach ministry under experienced team leaders for 2-3 years. TIMO’s Mission Statement is:  Compelled by Christ’s love for Africa’s Unreached People Groups, TIMO trains gospel-centered teams from the global church to plant reproducing churches.

This project helps with running team events, training team leaders, and contributing to special team member needs when finances are insufficient.

Tirrim Schools

Tirrim Secondary School, founded in 2009 by the Africa Inland Church of Kenya, is well known in its region of Kenya for the high quality education it provides for the semi-nomadic Rendille people. This project provides funding for improvements to the school and for day-to-day operations.

Transformational Development

This project helpïs to educate and train leaders in Transformational Development ministry on the island nation of Madagascar.

Tsumkwe Bible Story Project

The translation and creation of a Bible story setwill continue to aid the local churches and scattered believers in remote villages as they seek to make disciples and plant churches in these remote locations.

Since there is no translated Bible in the Ju'/hoansi language this project will create an oral Bible story set.  This set will be used primarily as a discipleship and Bible study tool. It will be reproducible by the locals once created.

The Bible story set will fill the hole where there is a lack of translated Scriptures.

Funds from the project will be used for:

  • $25 buys one solar-powered digital voice player. Think of each recorder as 1 Bible for that village.
  • $20 per finished story provides for professional local back translation into English so we can be sure the stories are accurate.
  • Mileage reimbursement as we go and share the stories in very remote places
  • Pay for skilled story crafters
  • Consultation cost related to theological backchecking
  • $50 helps buys a bicycle. Each storyteller is required to save money and contribute toward the purchase of the bike.

Uganda Theological Education by Extension Project

Pastors and lay leaders will come together weekly over the course of two years to study God’s word in their own communities, guided by Theological Education by Extension materials. They will receive a Certificate in Biblical Studies from an accredited university at the successful completion of these studies.

The project will help assist the growth and oversight of the program as hundreds of churches seek deeper training for their members. Funds will be used to introduce the program across Northern Uganda, train teachers, help the overseer with transport to the various centers, and provide scholarships for select students.

Universite Shalom Bunia

This project exists to provide occasional assistance to Shalom University in DR Congo, both in providing for the schools expansion and for the training of students in Theology and Missiology at all levels.
